We meet you in early pregnancy or prior to your pregnancy and explain the complete plan for assessment, monitoring, explain the risk assessment method and the pathway forward to having a baby without CHB.
Are you high risk for having a baby with CHB? Not every Lupus/Sjogren's mother is at risk of CHB. Can the risk be decreased ? We sit and discuss with you about your pregnancy.
I see many known Lupus patients getting pregnancy and haven't even had appropriate blood tests done prior to or during this pregnancy . They haven't been evaluated or counselled appropriately
Yes weekly Mechanical PR intervals are important, but are they good enough to prevent Heart Block? We now know that they may still not prevent CHB.
We have the latest methods of monitoring your baby to detect early involvement of baby' heart. And you don't have to be at the hospital/in doctors office for them.
We have experience in : Emergency medicines to stop progression, managing heart block through rest of pregnancy: we offer best treatment in all aspects: maternal, baby, heart, newborn care, neonatal management upto throughout childhood.
